Get Outside: Adventure Guides!

Mountains, lakes, ocean, ice caves, streams, cliffs, Oregon has it all. You could spend every weekend exploring and never see it all. Here are a few of our favorite resources for planning outdoor recreation:

Wild Oregon Girl- Creative blog on Eastern Oregon & Oregon Coast destinations. Un-intimidating ideas for food, hotels, & hikes.

The Outdoor Project- Off the beaten path adventure ideas, including paddling, hiking, road trips, & camping. Includes maps and all the information you need to go.

The Mandagies- Mostly Oregon Coast based ideas for exploring parks, trails, & beaches. Inspiring photography & approachable writing.

Travel Oregon: Information on all things Oregon, with a robust section for outdoor travel including road trip guides & lodging.

Oregon State Parks- We have THE BEST state parks. You can find better descriptions and inspiration on the other sites above, but this site is your one stop shop for making campsite or picnic reservations and finding maps.

National Parks Reservations- A surprisingly good website & app for making campsite & yurt reservations. Try the search filters, they have options like “waterfront” that you can try to do a broad statewide search for a perfect site.
