About Us
Green Oregon is here for the forests, so the forests can continue to be here for us.
Our contributors are creatives, scientists, adventurers, foresters, community leaders, farmers, teachers and wildfire experts. We live throughout the state of Oregon and seek to capture and share the beauty of the State with all Oregonians. We have worked with fire survivors to rebuild, restore and revitalize Oregon’s towns, trails and forested landscapes. We have worked to protect forests for water, wildlife and future generations.
We seek to inspire everyone to have a say in the future of Oregon’s beautiful forests, the wildlife that call them home and the clean water they provide for wildlife, fish and our communities. Green Oregon was launched in 2007 in the wake of the Eagle Creek fire and a project of Go Alliance, an Oregon non profit corporation to help communities affected by the fire make sense of the fire. If you would like to donate to support our work, you can do so via PayPal. Go Alliance is a registered charity and so all donations are eligible for a tax deduction.
